Journal of NACAA, Call for Papers

Dear NACAA Member,

 

March 15 th  is the spring article submission deadline for publication in the June 1 st  issue of the Journal of the NACAA.  With the new platform, please use the following formatting guidelines as paper will be submitted in Word format within the website at:  https://www.nacaa.com/journal-application

 

Required format:

  • Maximum of 4,000 words plus tables, graphics and abstract.
  • First letter of words in title should be capitalized.
  • Literature citations should follow the American Psychological Association style guide:   http://www.apastyle.org/   In the abstract
  • Scientific names should be italicized with the genus name Capitalized and the species designation lowercased.
  • Must be in newest version of Microsoft Word. No pdf files will be considered
  • Must be in 12-point font: Helvetica.
  • Line spacing of 1.5 within paragraphs
  • No indentation for paragraphs but 12-point line spacing between paragraphs
  • 1-inch margins on each side

This is an opportunity for NACAA members to publish some of the great work you all are doing.  The Journal of NACAA considers diverse topics that include current research, case studies, examples of outstanding Extension programming, and innovative ideas.  Non-NACAA members can be authors as long as a co-author is a member.  However, we highly encourage non-member authors to join NACAA.

 

Publishing in the Journal of NACAA is a great way to build your resume/CV and document your successes as you work toward attaining promotion or tenure in your institution.
