Getting the Most Out of Your Mobile Device

In Extension we all have busy schedules and are mostly not looking for something else to do. This webinar will focus on how mobile devices (IPad Mini focus for this presentation) are making Extension work more efficient and working smarter and not harder. We will touch on a couple of the basics like e-mail and calendars that link to your office computer to help stay connected away from the office. Mobile devices are also a great tool for utilizing social media to further your outreach.  Facebook and Twitter are two common social media outlets and Hootsuite is a mobile App (a computer program designed to run on mobile devices) that helps enhance your social media management. Mobile devices allow you to have the internet available at the touch of your finger, and setting favorite web pages (it looks like and act very similar to an App) to your home screen for quick easy access is a great way to save time. During this presentation we will also briefly look at purchasing an App and I will demonstrate some of my favorite ones (there is an App for almost everything!) used on the job. This webinar will be interactive and sharing of ideas will be welcomed.
