National eXtension Conference Registration Available

All Extension professionals—agents, educators, faculty and specialists as well as directors, administrators and other Extension leaders—are invited to attend eXtension’s National eXtension Conference 2016 (#NeXC2016) March 22-25 at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk. Information and registration is available at conference.extension.org.

The conference will focus on the priorities of eXtension’s new i-Three Initiative: Issues, Innovation, Impact. The conference will be conducted on two tracks:

Professional Development—peer-developed and taught offerings in traditional and new formats, including Workshops, Ignite sessions and Knowledge Cafés on topics such as social media strategies, impact measuring and reporting, storytelling, Citizen Science, effective presentations, spotting emerging issues and more

i-Three Issue Corps —an intensive 2.5 day session exclusively for the 126 new members of eXtension’s i-Three Issue Corps to advance their 72 individual and team innovation projects on the issues of climate and food systems Professional Development track attendees will share several sessions with i-Three Issue Corps members and have an opportunity to learn about their projects and process. All attendees will also receive early insights into eXtension’s 2016-2017 plans, opportunities and partnerships.
